Lab and Field Collaboration

Alongside NC State Extension, the Food Animal Initiative connects the science conducted at NC State to address on-farm challenges. The collaboration supports bilateral communication between applied expertise in the field and research-based information generated by NC State food animal researchers. North Carolina’s vast Extension network is crucial to the success FAI, both in identifying emerging issues and transferring groundbreaking research, tools and technology back into the hands of North Carolinians.

Off-campus Research
